James 1:27


Dear Family and Friends,


February has been a very good month. I was able to visit these nineteen families for home verification visit and to get to know the situation/background they are coming from. We are still in the process of finalizing their intake, but to see the program grow, is just so awesome.  
All these vulnerable families come from brokenness, poverty, loneliness, pushed away from the society, uneducated, carrying shame and guilt because of their husbands .


The Bible clearly says in James 1:27
 "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."
It is always encouraging to go back to this verse and see how much God loves the orphans and the widows and to be able to work for them and help them is the best thing ever.


We were able to come up with a creative calendar for the families in our program, they are excited to see  many events and activities planned for them. Each family gets a calendar, just so they can make themselves free that day.A lot of hard work and planning is given to each event so that each individual feels loved and cared.

Prayer Points 

·     Please pray that all the workshops and programmes that we planned for this year will happen successfully.
·     Please pray that I will continuously be used as an instrument in the lives of the children and women I work with.
·     Please pray for my MSW studies.
·     Please pray for the new families in our program.

The Journey of Empowerment    Dear Family and Friends I am enjoying my journey with FSP. There are things, which I learn every day. I had devoted myself to house visits this month. At present, we have 50 families with 131 children. These families are spread across four communities within Bangalore. It has been a wonderful journey this month personally visiting these families and getting to know a little more about them, spending time, loving them, listening to them and praying for them. Talking to the kids and encouraging them being an older sister to them. Sometimes they just need a person to listen and understand them. In the process of building lives, there is a tendency to be focused on results and outcomes that we may forget to focus on the person or the people group.              His Faithfulness Dear friends and Family, It’s been really amazing to see Gods hands on the Family Support Program. The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your  faithfulness . Small group Work at FSP has been hectic this past month,  a lot of administration work, house visiting’s, sponsor letters, and more. We were able to arrange a small group session for the older girls in our program. It was time of speaking truth about their identity and self-esteem. Their identity in Christ, and what he thinks about them and feels for them. We are planning to have this once every month. Small activities are planned to make it interesting and exciting.
