The Journey of Empowerment    Dear Family and Friends I am enjoying my journey with FSP. There are things, which I learn every day. I had devoted myself to house visits this month. At present, we have 50 families with 131 children. These families are spread across four communities within Bangalore. It has been a wonderful journey this month personally visiting these families and getting to know a little more about them, spending time, loving them, listening to them and praying for them. Talking to the kids and encouraging them being an older sister to them. Sometimes they just need a person to listen and understand them. In the process of building lives, there is a tendency to be focused on results and outcomes that we may forget to focus on the person or the people group. Relationship building is a key component in the process of development of the fsp families, keeping this in mind there are some points that we keep in mind while we invest into t...

Miracle Working God ! Dear Family and Fiends This month has been a great month .God was really faithful throughout this month. I witnessed a miracle which  I was a part of it. We as a family were waiting for God to intervene and take control of the situation, which seemed impossible through human eye. Our miracle working God showed himself once again in a mighty way. He proved to be faithful and we believe He will continue to be faithful to us. This miracle has personally impacted me in many ways, I have learned a lot and it sure did increase and expand my faith. Celebrating the wonderful miracle 2 Chronicles: 20 is the specific passage that God gave our family for this season to encourage and guide as well. Few things that God taught me through this passage as well as through this miracle. ·           Our God is worth it all, sometimes we just pray and ask him to do certain things that we wa...

Dear Family and Friends   I have completed my first month of work!   It has been a very fruitful month . Throughout this month  I have been counseling many of the Fsp kids, it has been a new experience for me.  I have enjoyed counseling them, Talking to them one on one, getting to know them a little more, listening to their problems and  coming up with solutions along with them.   The girls whom I have been counseling have been very open, they share everything freely and they have been considering me as their elder sister. A week back, we just had a three-day fsp training program for the second time in the past two-months. This training is for organizations or people who are interested to move from institutionalization to family based care. This is what we are trying to accomplish at fsp. We cannot dismiss the presence of childcare institutions altogether. However, we can re define the nature of those admitted to these ins...

Hello, my name is Santhiya, I am 24 years old .I just graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Management last month, I would like to share my testimony and the wonderful journey I have been having with Jesus. He has been a faithful friend and a dad and He still continues to be faithful to me.  I have had some rough times in life, got distracted and followed paths that I should not have, I let my weakness take control of me and went far away from Jesus, His word, His love and compassion.2010 March 16 th was the day I was fully set free from my sins, guilt, shame and many more bondage's, I thank God for that day I was able to walk in freedom and I could enjoy His presence more.  At the age of 20 I heard God talking to me and He clearly called me to do ministry. At that time I had no idea of how or which ministry to join in, I kept praying and looking for ministries. During my second year of degree I worked part time in FSP Family Support Program. Its a proje...
